Oh my... I back to writing on my xanga. Damn its been long. Where do I begin? Well I had a beautiful summer! I got to go to Jamaica and chill with my family before heading off to college, which was cool. Now I'm doing the college thing at Florida State University. Overall I really like it here. When I got here, I was so shocked at how friendly everyone really was. But thats what I like.

I've been trying to get involved on campus with the BSU and other organizations. You would think that because it is so few black people here, some organizations would be more welcoming, but they're not. Well at least not the females. I've become cool with a few of the boys that I met in BSU and they really treat me like their lil sister which is mad cool. Also on the social level are the girls that I hang out with... For some reason instead of doing what I originally thought would be best and trying to meet new people, I ended up chillin' with some girls I knew from high school, but NEVER talked to. That was not a good choice. I'm really not diggin' them now, so I stopped talking to a few of them. I've made the decision to do me, even if that means doing me by my damn self... Oh then there was my roommate situation. Well me and her are very cool now. Kinda like we were way back when. I think that God really does work in mysterious ways, because now its me and her chillin' most of the time. Who would've thought?... My classes in my opinion are very easy. I mean if you study and do your work its impossible to get below a 'B'.

So thats really all thats been up. Depending on how the rest of the semester goes for me, I might be thinking about transferring to Howard. FSU is really great but to an extent, I feel like I'm missing something.

Oh yeah... Can someone please answer the question as to why freshmen girls would go to college and instead of focusing on their 1st semester, they focus on "finding a husband"? Did I miss the "find a Husband quick" memo?

i haven't been on here in a good minute! I've been soo busy with school and graduation, that i've had no time. but anywho, the last weeks of high school was well worth it... There was so much going on. and of course EVERYONE had a graduation party! Brian and Rasheed pt.2 @ Stranahan North aka FSU! Its like in the last week of school everyone finally made up their mind on what college to go to and half the seniors are going to FSU and the other half to UF. So i'm really looking foreword to going to FSU now. I go for orientation in like 2 weeks and it will be the first time that i see the campus, so i'm a bit pressed. Now that i'm home, i kinda wish that i was going to summer term C. Oh well.

on another note, i leave for Jamaica in 3 weeks! I can't wait! I am well prepared... I've finally made my collection of bathing suits reach 10 which is just about one for everyday that i'll be there. And hopefully, my brother will come from england that way i won't have to spend too much money.

Other than that i really have to find something to do with my summer before i die of boredom!!!!

Wow...I haven't been on here in a while. i've been so busy studying for AP exams. Anywho, I had lots of fun at grad-nite despite some of downsides. before we got to disney we stopped at a rest stop and one of the teachers told us that Ciera was not going to show up. She apparently overbooked herself and didn't want to do grad-nite anyways. So we were like whatever... then he was like let me tell ya'll in advance, when you hear DUVAL don't stop to look, just run! everyone thought he was joking... sure enough when we got off the bus at disney all you heard was DUUUVAL! It was like a damn army of them out there. They sure did start some trouble... we at the foam party and everyone start to back up when i turned around all i saw was some girl hit the floor. apparently she told one of the boys she didn't want to dance with him and yeah... then coming off space mountain we see all these police in front of the POWER 96 stage... come to find out another group of boys from Duval jumped this white boy. Totally stomped him out. When we walked over there the boy was laid out on the concrete crying about mace being in his eyes.

Well VIP was aiight for the most part. Ciera did show up, and from what i hear went in there for a quick second, but I was not in there then. When she performed I was up front which was kool. I did see Kevin Little in VIP... But the only good thing was that we had free food all night.

I've decided to go to prom with this boy thats kool. he bought my ticket even though he knew that his friend wanted to take me.. oh well. Anywho
